Money = Avocado’s

What we hear from leading investors:
  • “The shifts that this revolution will create to company and asset values will be written about for the next hundred years. The media, the market participants, the brokers, the private banks, the investors, continue to do the same thing and continue to invest in the same way they have been used to, expecting the same result – a sign of insanity as Einstein put it. The market dynamics have changed, the old normal is long-gone and the new normal is here to stay. When will the herd wake up to this new reality?”
What we see from leading investors:
  • Buying agricultural land in New Zealand that produces money = Avocado’s
  • Opening Sydney offices and wanting to add Australian real estate to the portfolio
  • Drinking heavily at the 500 (InvestaCrowd’s VC partners) + Alibaba Venture Fund

Our Long/Short Pick:

On a recent trip to LA, we were blown away by how crazy the traffic has become because LA is now the No.1 destination for foreign capital, and prices have sky rocketed since their bottom Q2/3 2011. Important to note that it took nearly 3 years for housing prices to bottom out after the GFC

We are SHORT National Collegiate Student Loan Trusts, who apparently have lost $12 billion of loan documents. Investopedia says these 6 countries also offer “free college education”:

. Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia & France
